It is amazing what you can buy at Millwoods Auction. Only a few weeks a go a lucky lady purchased a Beaverman chair for £15. The vendor only wanted a £10 as it was thought to have been a very poor copy of a ‘Mouseman’ sculpture.
Then only the other week an not so perfect Omega watch went up for sale and it had clearly some work done on it. So it only managed to reach £30. The strap, winding up thing were added later but the inside was totally original, now worth £600+.
Ah well, fortune favours the brave when it comes to auctions and backing your own judgement.
